Finance is a crucial factor in the development of the changes needed to implement EWTD for doctors in training and sharing the learning in this area is enormously beneficial. This section brings together information on finance and EWTD (including the £310m investment from DH) as well as case studies that detail the cost implications of EWTD and how to tackle financial issues, including reinvesting pay band savings in patient services.
