Governance arrangements for implementation of the clinical modelThe governance arrangements are being established within the organisational structures and processes now set up for the Implementation phase. The responsibility for setting up governance systems will particularly sit within a newly established group called the Network Provider Partnership Board. The Board has already met and is agreeing its membership which includes acute Trust and PCT Chief executive representation, and terms of reference. There are also four Network Quadrant Implementation Groups which will have a governance role. The QUIGs will be attended by clinical, and managerial operational leads and commissioning leads for their respective area. The Paediatric, Maternity and Neonatal Networks will continue to be the advisory bodies on clinical standards and best practice. It is a real strength of the CYPF Network that there is such a strong degree of clinical leadership and engagement at every step along the way in implementing the model of care. Ultimately the Network Supervisory Board will be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the clinical model |
