Home Working Time Directive 2009 Junior doctor engagement

Junior doctor engagement

Junior doctor engagement

Junior doctors' working hours can be reduced whilst supporting quality of patient care, clinical training and the work/life balance of staff. In response to findings from our national EWTD pilot programme we have produced a useful resource pack including posters and postcards which have been specifically designed around junior doctors. These are available for all trusts to display and distribute in junior doctors' mess rooms.

The posters and postcards signpost resources which cover topics such as New Deal and EWTD as well as highlighting ways in which barriers to EWTD compliance can be overcome. You can read junior doctors' concerns and opinions about WTD implementation. For more information or to order your pack please email workforceprojectsteam@skillsforhealth.org.uk or Download your copies here >>>
