Home Hospital at Night and 24/7 Hospital at Night About Us

Skills for Health- Workforce Projects Team Hospital at Night support

The specific objectives of the Han concept at night and beyond were:

a) To provide practical advice and support for trusts implementing the HaN model
b) To encourage the use of appropriate risk assessment tools and nurse competence framework, to ensure the HaN model is implemented safely by trusts
c) To identify new learning from trusts (over and above the lessons from the pilot sites), and disseminate this learning across the NHS
d) To ensure ongoing engagement of clinical, professional and representative bodies
e) To provide effective communication to support HaN implementation as one of the solutions to WTD 2009.

As of March 2010 Skills for Health’s lead in the HaN project ceased. The HaN section remains current with relevant information, illustrating examples of work and best practice to enable trusts to implement HaN.
