What is this resource?
It is a job description for our nurse clinician role. This role was introduced in 1997 and has been developed to be key to the Hospital at Night team. The nurse clinicians work evenings, nights and weekends giving professional, advanced clinical support to junior doctors and nursing staff and co-ordinate the handover.

What are the benefits to using our resource?
To establish and recruit to a night nurse clinician role or to develop an existing role. It has been transferred onto the Agenda for Change pay scale and has a Knowledge and Skills Framework (KSF).
