Terms of reference:

The Programme Delivery Board will oversee the detailed WTD project plan and overarching communications strategy. The remit of the group is to:

  1. To accept the strategic priorities for development agreed by the WTD Stakeholder Group
  2. To approve Skills for Health - Workforce Projects Team's detailed programme plan for delivering WTD 2009 initiatives. This includes confirming the appropriateness of the objectives, key results, project funding, risks, issues and the timescales for delivery
  3. To oversee the tender process
  4. To monitor the progress of initiatives funded through the Workforce Projects Team in support of Working Time Directive 2009 and to communicate this progress to the main Stakeholder Group
  5. To provide expert and professional advice as appropriate
  6. To take action to support the Workforce Projects Team and partner organisations to unblock barriers and champion the agreed approaches
  7. To support the delivery and dissemination of WTD 2009 good practice through the use of personal and professional networks
  8. To provide expert advice by way of attendance on pilot/project evaluation panels
  9. Responsibility for delivering the enabling projects (but not for organisational compliance).
