Long Term Conditions
Long term conditions are the focus of a brand new section of the healthcare workforce portal launched in January.

Workforce Projects Team has been commissioned by the Department of Health to provide a range of resources to support integrated workforce planning in long term conditions.

The new portal pages highlight key questions, issues and advice around workforce planning. Using the speciality areas highlighted in Lord Darzi's Next Stage Review, seven distinct portal areas have been developed, they are:

  • Long term neurological conditions
  • Renal
  • Cancer
  • Respiratory
  • Diabetes
  • Mental health
  • Coronary heart disease.

Delegates to the Long Term Conditions Conference in Harrogate on 7th April will be able to access the specialist resources produced by Workforce Projects Team directly at the event to support the learning on the day.
