As a follow up to the programme we aired last summer on HealthExecTV - the online television channel for managers and professionals across the NHS - we have commissioned a further two films that will share learning and best practice workforce solutions.
Professor Wendy Reid, national clinical adviser on EWTD and Dr John Coakley, medical director at the Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust will feature in a programme that will focus on Care 24/7 looking at Hospital at Night and the importance of structured handovers when ensuring quality patient care and sustainable training.
The second programme will see Dr Carol Ewing, consultant paediatrician at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, highlight the excellent work the hospital has done in developing a consultant based service and how they have reduced reliance on doctors in training.
