2008 Annual Assessment

Skills for Health - Workforce Projects Team Hospital at Night team has recently launched the 2008 Annual Assessment of Hospital at Night implementation through a new easy to use online data collection tool.

The purpose of the Hospital at Night 2008 Assessment is to:

• Provide an indicative measure of implementation locally with a red/amber/green scorecard to help prioritise areas which may need focus or input
• The survey will provide suggestions on processes trusts can consider implementing
• Inform the Workforce Projects Team agenda on support needed for implementation
• Provide an indicator on uptake nationally and across the UK
• Update Hospital at Night benefits realisation work.

All acute, mental health and foundation NHS trusts have been contacted to set up access logins for the online survey. Once the survey is complete a UK wide report will be written outlining the progress, learning and issues to date.
