Healthcare Workforce Webcasts

We are delighted to be able to present audio webcasts online.

You may know the term 'podcasts'. This can be a slightly confusing term as it infers that you need to have an ipod to download and listen to audio files.

Our webcasts are in MP3 format and are available for you to open via the site, you can download them for free, without any registration onto your computer, and are compatible with most media players such as Windows Media Player.

To download and listen to our webcasts, you will need to ensure that you have the following:

  • Speakers and/ or headphones on your computer
  • Enough space on your computer to download the files (Some of these files can quite large)
  • A media player such as Windows Media Player

Things to remember

Many of our webcasts are audio speeches. To benefit from them properly, you should listen to them in conjunction with the presentation that they relate to. Otherwise you may find that the audio speech refers to something that is on the presentation.

Audio MP3 fles for speeches can be quite large. For this reason, files can take a long time to download.
