This page explains how the healthcare workforce portal uses any information you give us and the ways in which we protect your privacy.

Data Protection Act

In accordance with the Data Protection Act, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. We will only use your information for the purpose we have described and we do not pass on your details to any third party unless you have given us permission to do so.

Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000 was fully implemented in the NHS in January 2005. Each NHS organisation will have a publication scheme detailing information they hold. Members of the public are entitled to request this information.

Site Usage

We do not use cookies for collecting user information. Log files allow us to record visitor’s use of the site to enable us to enhance the future layout of the site. The data we gather in this way does not contain any personal information about which other sites you have visited.

Feedback Form

When you send comments back to us using the feedback form they are only seen by healthcareworkforce members of staff. The information received may be recorded and you may be contacted regarding your query if this has been requested. Any information received is not passed on to anyone else.
