WorkshopsSignposting EWTD solutions:NHS North West, NHS East of England & Dr Masood Ahmed discussed a range of commonly cited barriers to EWTD compliance and the wealth of assistance and practical solutions available to help overcome them. Maximising Training: Dr Ian Curran from London Deanery gave advice on approaches to maximising training for junior doctors in a 48 hour week. This workshop outlined the use of training methods such as e-learning and simulation that are available in London supported by the Deanery. Legal Issues: Jodie Sinclair and John Moore of Bevan Brittan discussed the potential legal implications of the European Working Time Directive.
