Data Modelling Course - Sign up now

Do you want to find out more about demand and supply modelling in workforce planning?

Following the success of our three data modelling courses earlier this year, Skills for Health – Workforce Projects Team (WPT) are delighted to announce we will be delivering another course this coming October. The course was given the thumbs up by delegates of the previous events in January, March and June and demand is expected to be high.

The course is aimed at people involved in workforce planning who need to develop their knowledge and understanding of demand and supply modelling, plus activity analysis. There will be the opportunity to learn from expert analysts and planners and how to access a variety of tools and resources which enable the development of robust, evidence based workforce plans.

Key speakers/presenters include:

  • Keith Hurst, senior lecturer, University of Leeds
  • David Priscott, head of workforce planning and education, NHS Plymouth
  • The NHS Information Centre
  • Symmetric SD, a company that has developed a paediatric medical workforce modelling tool.

The next event is based in London and held between the 6th and 8th of October. Venue details will be released in due course. Keep an eye on the healthcare workforce portal for information on further data modelling courses planned in 2010.
