To sign up or find out more please register below >>>The database can be used in a wide variety of circumstances, for example, if you are a trust looking to provide a new service, you can consider a number of variables that can help inform your decisions about the new service, such as demographic information about your local population.The database also provides data at a local level and can help inform potential initiatives like reducing staff turnover. The database incorporates over 1000 separate datasets covering PCT, acute, mental health and maternity services. The data falls into a number of categories including:
Workshop aims and objectivesWe are arranging workshops (free to NHS staff) that offer you an opportunity to explore the database and develop a trust profile to aid you in your role. The event will help you master the NHS Benchmarking Database and illustrate the benefits of applying it to your trust’s workforce planning and development strategy. The objectives are to:1. Understand the nature and value of the database2. Start developing a profile for your trust using health needs assessment, performance, staffing and other data 3. Benchmark your trust against organisations in the same socio economic band and other comparators 4. Explore appropriate staffing numbers and mix for your trust 5. Help you access and use the online search engine 6. Explore participants local workforce planning and development initiatives.
