Workforce planning across a plurality of providers

On 16 January 2008, Skills for Health - Workforce Projects Team held the first of three strategic-level workforce planning masterclasses. Aimed at chief executives, directors and other senior leaders the first masterclass concentrated on "Workforce planning across a plurality of providers ".

Many delegates attended the masterclass which included speakers from NHS Elect. Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and the Workforce Review Team.

Topics covered by the speakers included, Towards World Class Commissioning, Similarities and Differences between the NHS and free markets and How Other Companies Manage Workforce Issues.
