Towards WTD 2009 - conference 4/4/2006Skills for Health - Workforce Projects Team presented its first Working Time Directive (WTD) conference on the theme of 'Transforming Care Delivery' on 4th April 2006 at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London. The aim of this conference was to raise awareness of WTD 2009 and to highlight the support and resources that are available which will help NHS organisations to meet the directive. Click here to view the full conference programme >>>> The conference was a great success and a good start to WTD 2009 communications. It attracted over 300 delegates and speakers from across the NHS. The conference was divided into plenary and workshop sessions. Professor Judy Hargadon gave the opening address outlining the key WTD 2009 facts. This was followed by Lord Warner's case for action, which described the way in which WTD links with other major policies.
