Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals (RLBUHT) was already a successful Hospital at Night pilot site and the Trust has acknowledged improvements in care to patients whilst improving the working lives of staff.

Whole team working to promote best practice and achieve 2009 compliance

The Hospital at Night model consists of a multidisciplinary night team, which has the competences to cover a wide range of interventions but has the capacity to call in specialist expertise when necessary. In this phase of the project, the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen team have implemented a complimentary model for daytime working, to achieve the requirements of EWTD 2009.
