Hospital at Night Handover

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust have produced a high quality training and education video to support handover between multiprofessional teams. The 15 minute video features examples of handover which include all the types of poor behaviour associated with this activity followed by an example of a good handover including the way the IT Handover Tool, also developed by the Trust, supports the process. A short scene demonstrating the principles of a 'bedside' handover is also included along with some comments emphasising the importance of good handover from Mr Alistair Flowerdew the trust's medical director.
