Cooperative Solutions

WTD compliance can be a particular challenge for a small or isolated NHS organisation. One of the ways of meeting this challenge is the development of cooperative and integrated solutions across the health community.

In the first WTD 2009 pilot work, Skills for Health - Workforce Projects Team invited bids from organisations to host cooperative solutions pilot projects. Scarborough health community, Morecambe Bay Hospitals and North Central London paediatric network all ran pilot projects. A fourth pilot looking at a hub and spoke approach to services at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is also included in this work.

Regular progress reports on the pilots are included on these pages and in issues of the Calling Time newsletter. Lessons from the pilots are widely disseminated on an ongoing basis.
