Clinical Leadership in the delivery of EWTD conference 2009

Wendy Reid in the HSJ - NHS organisations on track to meet EWTD

The NHS is on track to meet the European Working Time Directive by 1 August, according to Miss Wendy Reid, EWTD clinical advisor to the Department of Health in this month's HSJ. Wendy reports that all strategic health authorities, the medical royal colleges and the BMA are working together to monitor organisations' progress and offer solutions to help meet the August deadline. Wendy focuses on safer patient care and highlights the national EWTD pilots' programme.
