Workforce Skills Analysis Tool set to launch

NWP has scoped and developed a Workforce Skills Analysis Tool that will be available during the week commencing 4th August.

The tool responds to the need from all organisations and individuals providing healthcare for a framework with a set of tools to help them assess their capabilities and capacity in workforce planning. The tool will allow them to have an overview of their current planning skills and allow any gaps to be filled, inform the commissioning of training and sharing of best practice across the organisation and wider healthcare economy, plus allow them to plan their future workforce planning staffing needs.

The tool is underpinned by the UK Wide Workforce Planning Competence Framework and also incorporates an organisational state of readiness assessment framework.
